Homework

Seventh grade math teachers update this website daily with assignments and upcoming assessments (see below). Please check the website daily for assignments. If a student forgets their book at school, students can log on to the online textbook to access the homework or access any worksheets.

Online Resources

To access Pearson resources online, on the FHMS Website, click on “Students” on the right and click “Pearson Easy Bridge”. This will take you to your “Clever” login.

Click “Login with my Active Directory” on the left. Students have been given information about their username and password so that they can login. Please keep a copy of this information at home.

Now, click the “Pearson Easy Bridge” Icon. You will see your name and your math class. Click on the “Pearson Realize” Icon on the right side.

The math online textbook allows students to access the following:

-Virtual Nerd (video tutorials)     

-MathXL (practice problems)

-Interactive examples (examples from class for students to watch again)

-Games (to increase fluency)

Seventh Grade Math Tutoring

There is free math tutoring available for all grade levels on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30 to 4:00 and Wednesday mornings from 7:30 to 8:00 in Mrs. Brock's room #153. Also, on Thursday and Friday mornings 7:30 to 8:00 in Mrs. Flick's room #206. In addition, there is a district list of tutors (for a fee) in the guidance office. Please contact the guidance office if you are interested.

The extra credit window for fourth quarter closed April 26.

Study Island Extra Credit Opportunity

Students have from Friday, February 20th until Sunday, March 1st at the end of the day to earn blue ribbons on Study Island. The assignments are the same for math7 and prealgebra. Students need to go to study island and log in with their username and password. Their username is their first name with the first letter capitalized followed by a period and then their last name with the first letter capitalized @fhsd. For example, Mickey Mouse's username would be Mickey.Mouse@fhsd. Their password is their student id number. Once they are in, they just need to click on the third quarter extra credit assignment. Students can earn up to 12 points extra credit (not percentage points). Each blue ribbon earned is 3 points extra credit (not percentage points).
