On behalf of our entire staff, I would like to welcome all new and returning students and families to Francis Howell Middle School. We are looking forward to meeting new faces and seeing familiar ones! It continues to be an honor to serve Francis Howell Middle School, a school with strong traditions of academic excellence, strong family and community support, and dedicated staff.
FHMS meets all students where they are and challenges them in different ways. There are enrichment opportunities - extending their learning beyond the classroom with programs like robotics, youth and government, Student Council, or National Junior Honor Society, but there are also support services in place if they need it - tutoring in ELA & math after school, homework support pages, teachers that volunteer to have 1:1s with students before school to get them the extra support that they need, or co-taught classrooms. How fantastic to see a school handle both excellently and meet the students at their individual levels.
Wonderful environment that provides first rate academics but also offers clubs and activities that allowed our kids to explore interests and make lasting friendships. We love FHMS, teachers, staff, and administrators.
